This 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐫𝐨 𝐦𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞 KONTRADIKSHN released a new album AHEAD OF OURSELVES in February last year and is returning to stages in Europe after a corona nap.
The band's fusion of fractured rhythms, synth punk, modern electronica and more was described by critics as 𝐚 𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐲, 𝐋𝐚𝐢𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬.
The band is also praised from countries of the former Yugoslavia, where Kontradikshn has been performing since the very beginning - among other things, 𝐢𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟑 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝟒𝟎𝟎 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 at the largest regional festival for new bands, Demofest in Banja Luka.
Since then, there have been numerous performances and tours in Europe, and in 2016 they released their full-fledged debut album REFRAMING, which received its long-awaited successor in February last year. The album AHEAD OF OURSELVES, created during the pandemic, is announced by the explosive single "Excess" followed by second single »On demand« and mini-hits like "Berlin" and "Ne-Bo".
